Here are a few of the photos from hikes I took in the Superstition Wilderness (which is situated in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona). The area is desert, with seasonal streams that flow during and after the rains. In the driest, most exposed areas, the forest is composed primarily of tall Saguaro Cactus (and, of course, other species of cactus, too).
